One of the key developments of the past few decades has been the growing desire of large organisations to sell western products in  emerging economies. A classic beneficiary of this trend has been tradeshow owner and organiser ITE, whose shares have risen almost five-fold since we profiled them in December 2001 helped by a mixture of recovery in its key markets in Russia and Turkey. Crucial to ITE's success is its ability to secure agreements (between five and ten years) with the leading exhibition venues it most frequently uses. Long term agreements of this type provide the rights, quite often exclusive, to certain themes at the venues whilst it has been the shortage of available large venues in places like Moscow or St Pete ...
