Having changed its year end, Erinaceous has reported results for the nine months to 31 December. These include the results of the acquired Hercules Property business for the final three months only. Turnover was £67.5m and underlying pretax profit before exceptionals was £6m. Setting aside the acquisitions, organic turnover and profit grew  20%. The results are largely academic as it (a) excludes the group's traditionally most profitable January to March quarter; (b) only includes the Hercules acquisition for the final three months and (c) does not have the full benefit of cost savings from removal of duplicated overheads which are likely to become apparent by the middle of this year.
