CSS Stellar - Bridgwell forecast Â£2.5m pretax this year

As foreshadowed in February's issue of Sharewatch, the shares went on to retouch a low just ahead of results for the year to 31 December being announced, but have since bounced strongly. On a continuing basis, sales were £73m with an operating profit of £2.2m but this was clouded by exceptionals relating to the disposal of ARB and losses of now discontinued operations. These exceptionals which had been flagged previously, amounted to £2.3m, resulting in a headline loss of £4.5m.
