The FTSE is trading at its highest level for almost three months andthe Growth Portfolio made a welcome move back into positive territory. Since the beginning of the year, there has been an indiscriminate sell off as the threat of war loomed. Now that that situation is close to resolution, the present position is tricky for investors in large companies which have rallied in a short space. We believe thatthe generally uncertain climate has created the backdrop for us toexpect significant gains in a short period of time for smallcompanies.
