For the six months to 31 December, the seasonally stronger half and the first six month trading period following the acquisition of The Glisten Confectionery, profit before tax and goodwill was £852,000 on sales of £8.47m. Adjusted diluted eps was 6.7p. The comparables are notreally meaningful given that Glisten was a private company last year.  On 30 September, a first deferred payment of £1.7m was madeto Glisten Confectionery's vendors, leaving borrowings of £2.2m at the year end.
