Corin, a medical engineering business,  involved in hip and knee implants, is seeking admission to the Official List following a placing by Beeson Gregory to raise £22m, capitalising the company at £40m. Founded in 1985, the company's principal product linesare joint replacements for the treatment of degenerative arthritis,particularly devices that treat the young, active arthritic. These include its proprietary metal-on-metal hips (Cormet 2000) andmobile bearing knees (Rotaglide+) as well as spinal implants anddevices for the treatment of sports injuries.  Corin says it is10 years ahead (in terms of clinical experience) of its competitors.  In the year to 31 December, pretax profit rose by 50 ...
